Training and open communication are important to Kathy. And that's one of the reasons she chose to work at Ernest Packaging. She values all of the support the company gives employees to help them succeed, including the ability to talk to absolutely anyone within the organization. Now she finds herself contributing to that culture on a regular basis in our Portland office. From helping her team understand the importance of their job in the bigger picture of our operations to deepening her packaging knowledge, she is both a teacher and an eager student.

Outside of her work, Kathy enjoys training in a different context — on her bicycle! She loves taking long rides on the scenic trains around Portland. Whether she's in the bike lane or out on our warehouse floor, Kathy is always looking for opportunities to learn and grow.

One thing you can always say about Jim is that he knows how to stay focused on what's important. Whether it's a leisurely ride on the open road on his Harley or ensuring our customers consider what they need in addition to what they want, he makes the most of every opportunity. That makes him a fun guy to hang around with and a great advocate for our customers.
