Back in LA, in a studio that feels as soulful as it is secretive, MCJ Sound. The home studio of legendary producer Mario Caldato, who has collaborated with artists like the Beastie Boys, Beck and Jack Johnson. Just to name a few. We’re stoked to share the latest Cardboard Sessions, and 16 is super sweet. The vibe was as impossibly cool as the corrugated instruments themselves. Sixteen featured Roberto Schilling, the Grammy Award-winning producer and composer hailing from the vibrant musical landscape of Brazil, taking our newest addition, the Cardboard Keyboard, on its maiden voyage. Along with Andrew Synowiec on the Fender Strat, Sean Hurley on the Fender Bass and Jake Reed on the Masters of Maple drum kit. The perfect amount of imagination and innovation to melt your mind.
