When the fearless creators over at Signal collaborate with the innovative minds at Ernest, the impossible becomes a reality. The same can be said when our paper guitar and drum kit are put into the hands of legendary musicians. It’s more than music, it’s Cardboard Sessions—a once-in-a-lifetime experience for both the artists and the listeners.

Our new series gives musicians the complete freedom to play their hearts out, inspiring each other to push the boundaries of music and discovering new sounds along the way. Episode 5 continues the momentum with artists who need no introduction: Shannon Powell, James Andrews and the Crescent City All Stars. On drums, we have legendary New Orleans resident Shannon who’s gained international recognition for his skills. Considering he’s been compared to the great Louis Armstrong, it should come as no surprise that James takes center stage with his trumpet. Last, but certainly not least, we have the Crescent City All Stars on our cardboard Fender Stratocaster, plus a few more instruments for that authentic jazz sound.

Together, this ensemble combines the power of brass with the magic of paper.
