When we partner with the fearless creators over at Signal, we always know we’re going to be pushing the limits. Because when you put together innovative minds, anything is possible. That’s how we created our cardboard Fender Stratocaster and drum kit. The same instruments that world-famous musicians have been jamming out on in our latest series, Cardboard Sessions.
Cardboard Sessions is more than proving paper is shreddable. It’s an intimate space that reminds musicians exactly why they got into music in the first place—to create music that resonates with them. This video series showcases paper pushing boundaries, but even more than that, it shows artists inspiring each other to push their own musical boundaries.
Episode 6 features both an iconic band and a historic venue. The Preservation Hall Jazz Band jams out at the Preservation Hall in New Orleans. Since the early 1960s, this seven-man band has been traveling the world with their feel-good music. Their showcase of jazz music has been influential and led to numerous awards including the National Medal of Arts, the country’s highest honor for artistic excellence.
The latest episode combines the history of jazz with the future of cardboard and makes for one show stopping performance.
