It’s time to say farewell to the year that brought up everything from the World Cup to Ellen’s Oscar selfie to “Sharknado 2”. Pharrell’s hat made us “Happy”, and we all definitely learned to “Let It Go”.

It was definitely a big year here at Ernest as well. Although we’re sad to close out 2014, we have big things in store for 2015 that we can’t wait to share with you.

Back in February, we made a cardboard snowboard with Signal Snowboards. It was such a success that we made a cardboard surfboard with them over the summer. We got caught up in the Ice Bucket Challenge excitement as well, which helped raise funds and awareness for ALS. As excited as we were about the Ernest Cardboard Chaos series, our biggest success in 2014 was the work that we did for our customers — including protecting delicate flowers and helping SnackNation bring healthy treats to offices everywhere!

We ended the year with a real highlight: Being featured on CBS2 Los Angeles!

But enough about where we’ve been. What’re more important is where we’re going! Here are just a few things that we’re excited about for 2015:

Our new website!

Early next year ErnestPackaging.com will be getting an overhaul. We can’t wait for you to see it! It will be easier for you to find exactly what you’re looking for, and it will have more information about how Ernest can help bring packaging success to businesses like yours.

Ernest Cardboard Chaos continues!

Following the success of the snowboard and the surfboard, we have several new videos up our sleeves. Two of our first projects in 2015 will be … drumroll … a cardboard no-pedal bike and a cardboard skateboard! And wait until you see who we got to ride the bike!

More customer success!

More than anything, 2015 will be a year of continued customer success. We’ll continue to share some of those stories in our new blog series, Ernest to the Rescue.

If your New Year’s resolution is to improve the quality and efficiency of your packaging solutions, contact us today. We’re certain that 2015 will be a terrific year. After all, “Sharknado 3” is already in production!
