GobbleQuackCluck: The Turducken and Other "Repackaged" Thanksgiving Food Favorites

October 16, 2013

Forget the cronut! Perhaps the greatest food repackaging in all of history belongs to the TURDUCKEN!

The incredible Thanksgiving dish is a mashup of birds – a chicken stuffed into a duck stuffed into a turkey. Spinoffs of the turducken include those packaged with sausage, bacon, stuffing, goose and more.

This delectable pie/cake mashup is perfect for dessert! It is, according to Serious Eats, three ridiculous layers of dessert including pumpkin pie inside spice cake, apple pie inside yellow cake, and cherry pie inside white cake, all surrounded by cream cheese frosting! OUT OF CONTROL!
