One Boy’s Packaging Wish Delivered by UPS

January 08, 2015

Four-year-old Carson has one wish: to be a UPS driver for a day. More than 3 million viewers watched, shared and fell in love with UPS driver Mr. Ernie and Carson’s heartwarming story about a shared passion for packages in less than two weeks. Here at Ernest Packaging Solutions, we sure enjoy sharing good stories about great people in packaging.

If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out now:

The friendship between the unlikely pair started when Mr. Ernie delivered Carson’s special milk formula two to three times a week. Carson’s curiosity about packages and delivery quickly ensued, and he couldn’t wait for Mr. Ernie’s visits each week. All Carson ever wanted was to become a UPS driver like Mr. Ernie and to deliver packages with a smile.

Mr. Ernie and UPS granted Carson that wish with his very own UPS truck in which Carson continues to deliver packages of muffins, cookies and dog bones to neighbors and their four-legged friends.

At Ernest, we talk a lot about how packaging can impact the customer experience as much as the product within the cardboard box. And in Carson’s case, the smile and passion for his work he brought with each package made the biggest impact on his “customers.”

If you’re ready to put some passion into your next packaging project, give Ernest Packaging Solutions a call today to help you engineer a packaging experience that your customers will never forget.
