TBT: Your Heart -- Not Your Chocolate -- Should Melt on Valentine's Day

February 13, 2014

For this Throwback Thursday post, we’re taking Buzz readers back to a fun, but sort of creepy, chocolate post for Valentine’s Day. Don’t worry, if you ship your products with Ernest Packaging Solutions, you’ll never have to worry about your special someone opening a scary, half-melted chocolate bunny.

Valentine’s Day is here! And if you’re still reading this instead of scrambling out the door because you just learned it was Valentine’s Day from a packaging blog we salute you!

We have been brought many packaging challenges over the years, but they all seem to have one thing in common: Get our product to where it’s going and make sure it looks as yummy as when it left.

Sounds simple? It isn’t. Along the way packages are rocked, rolled, heated, cooled, jostled, stacked and dropped. We only make it look easy because our expert engineers and designers know the mystical secrets to superior packaging.

So what does this all have to with Valentine’s Day? Well, imagine the heartbreak if you handed your sweetie a box of chocolates only to find that they had melted and punctured! Now you may be thinking, “Who cares? Chocolate is chocolate, right?” Wrong. Melted chocolate can be traumatizing as this European (of course) artist found out.

So when you hand over a box of chocolates, or a bouquet of flowers in a vase, or, um, any other special gifts for your loved one this Valentine’s Day, be thankful for packaging experts like us who don’t let days like this become nightmares.

Or to put it simply, Ernest Packaging Solutions keeps THIS from happening:
