Throwback Thursday: Cardboard Chaos Rolls On with No-Pedal Bike

May 18, 2017

May is “National Bike Month,” and tomorrow is “Bike to Work Day.” That’s something we can get wheely excited about! For this Throwback Thursday, we’re showing off our Cardboard Chaos creation made in collaboration with Prince Lionheart: a no-pedal bike fortified by the power of corrugated paper. Roll on!

The “Wheel Deal” is rolling into town! Last year Ernest Cardboard Chaos showed the raw power of corrugate with our cardboard surfboard and cardboard snowboard videos. But why should adults have all of the fun?! Thanks to our friends at Prince Lionheart, we’re back with a rad new ride for the toughest daredevil kids on the block!

After seeing our earlier Ernest Cardboard Chaos videos, the team at Prince Lionheart, who create incredible products for kids and their parents, challenged us to make a no-pedal bike. We said, “No pedals? No problem!”

So throw on a helmet, hit the streets, and watch to see how Ernest’s Mike Martinez and his team engineered this tough, durable and eco-friendly bike.

Prince Lionheart will be taking the bike on the road with them this weekend. They’ll be attending the North American International Toy Fair, the Western Hemisphere’s largest marketplace of children’s products, in New York City. They’re coming for you, NYC!

Creating innovative solutions with cardboard isn’t just child’s play. If you’re looking for a strategic innovator for your packaging needs, contact Ernest today.
