Protecting Your New Oscar

February 27, 2013

One of the great things about the Oscars is how it brings together amazingly talented people from around the world, as well as a lot of men with really long hair. But after the champagne has been consumed and the lights go down, all of those winners return to their homes, from the Hills to the Himalayas, with their trophy in tow.

Shipping and protecting priceless statues? Sounds like they should call Ernest Packaging Solutions to keep their gold-plated cargo intact.

Might we suggest Best Actress winner Jennifer Lawrence make an appointment with one of our senior packaging consultants to get her Oscar home safely after she tripped on her way to accept her award?

We kid, Jennifer … you know we love you.

Before 2010, Oscar winners had to return their trophy to the Academy for engraving, but now Oscars are personalized at a gala following the ceremony. This means dozens of statues are now in the hands of elated (and probably inebriated) men and women in heels and long dresses. Sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Never fear Oscar winners! Ernest Packaging Solutions is up to the challenge and we can keep those little statues safe with our customized packaging solutions … we’re just a call away.
